Fund Raiser:
The club is considering putting together a cookbook fundraising project/drive.
Primarily the proceeds from the project/drive will be to assist our students with the following:
1. Competing at Taekwondo Events
2. Defray Cost of Promotions
3. Student Equipment Purchases
Money credited to the club will be used to obtain additional training aids; paddles, kicking machines, etc.
The parents (committee) currently organizing the project is Kathy Maloy, Jana Reed, Cindy Green and Heidi Lewis . Others are invited to join, assist and/or pass ideas to the committee.
Once the cookbook book is complete the committee will set up sales and students will sell books throughout the community. Students will be credited a percentage of sales based on the number of sells made by that student.
Example: If a book sells for $5.00 then the student will be credited %75 ($3.75) and the club will be credited %25 ($1.25).
The committee will need recipes for appetizers, soups and salads, main dishes, vegetables, desserts, and beverages. The name of the contributor of the recipe(s) will appear at the end of the recipe.
Again: Monies will be placed in the club account for the student to spend on promotions, equipment, tournaments and/or other club related activities.
Special Note: Monies will not be used by the student for personal use nor will the money be taken from the account if the student decides to no longer participate in the club.
Anyone who would like to assist with the fundraising project please speak to Kathy (TJ's Mom), Jana (Alan's Mom), Cindy (Rachel/Rebekah Mom) or Heidi Lewis (Emmy Lou's Mom).
